One of the keys amins of the Sangat Centre, Keighley is creating opportunities for training and jobs.
Despite issues with attracting funding Sangat Centre is still being sucessful in this aim.
Over the recent weeks 6 local people who had given their time as volunteers at the Centre have now gone on to securing paid employment in their chosen field.
4 are now working as English Language teachers, one is training to be a Dental Nurse and the 6th is workinmg as a Support Assistant working with vulnerable elderly people.
They have all acknowledged the benefits gained from their voluntary work and from the support given to them at Sangat Centre.
