What we provide

Since 1998 Sangat has been providing healthy cooked meals to members of the community. This has formally become the luncheon club which operates Tuesday – Thursday through our very own kitchen and dining area. Initially linked with the day care centre providing meals as part of our care for the elderly, the service grew in popularity and has become a regular port of call for local people. We only use fresh ingredients in all our curries which are cooked by our own chefs, hand drawn from the local community with generations of authentic Asian cooking experience.

To cater for local needs catering is women only on Tuesdays and men only on Thursdays while Wednesday is free to anyone who wishes come along for a chat and a curry.

In order to sustain our services we charge a small fee of £2 per meal which includes main meal, dessert and drink in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Our kitchen is maintained to a high standard which has been awarded 5 star ratings by the Bradford Council health and safety officials. In addition all our kitchen staff have successfully completed food hygiene training from the Institute of Environmental Health.

Catering Service:

Due to the popularity and reputation we have created at Sangat we are venturing into our own range of takeout services. None of the authenticity or flavour is lost in our prompt service of traditional style curries and chapattis.
